Caring for relatives can also be a job
Being able to care for your loved ones can be very rewarding. However, depending on the intensity of the care, it is often difficult to combine a full-time job with caring for them.
In such a situation, you are forced to reduce your workload. This further complicates the situation with financial losses.
However, this does not have to be the case. It is possible to get employed as a caring relative in a Spitex company under the so-called "employment model for family care".
Afem Spitex is already working successfully with this model.

For what services are you compensated?
You will be reimbursed for basic care services (according to Art. 7 KLV ):
Personal care and hygiene (showering, washing, washing hair, dental and oral care, shaving)
excretion (going to the toilet)
Dressing and undressing (clothes, compression stockings)
Mobility (standing up, lying down, walking, transferring, storing)
Eating and drinking (instructing, giving)
Our qualified nursing professionals will clarify your care needs in a personal interview. You will then receive payment via the health insurance company of the person you are caring for. We will take care of the administrative tasks for you.
